About

Lancaster Friends of the Nashua River was formed in 2010 by a group of Lancaster citizens. One of our top goals is to engage and connect the community with the river. Lancaster Friends of the Nashua River is a chapter of the Nashua River Watershed Association, a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Our Mission:

To ensure that the Nashua River as it flows through the town of Lancaster is nurtured and valued as a community asset with wildlife and habitat protection, effective water quality management, flood plain and greenway acquisition and accessible for passive and active recreation for its citizens and visitors.
